About Jeff
Meet Jeff, the founder of Newlin Electric, originally from Plainfield, Indiana. He graduated from Plainfield High School in 2003. When college came calling, Jeff decided to pursue a Construction Management Degree, juggling studies with gigs as a residential electrician and roofer.
In his sophomore year, Jeff discovered his passion for electrical work, leading him to specialize in it for his bachelor’s degree. Graduating from Purdue University in 2009, he dove into the electrical field, dedicating fourteen years to major Electrical Contractors managing projects ranging from $50,000 to $30,000,000. His work took him across the southeast and the west, tackling complex electrical projects.

In 2019, Jeff earned his MBA from the University of Colorado. In 2023, he and his wife returned to Indiana, prompting Jeff to realize his dream of starting Newlin Electric. With a Master Electrician License, he aims to foster a company culture centered on quality work, teamwork, planning, safety, continuous improvement, and camaraderie.

Beyond his business pursuits, Jeff is pursuing a NABCEP PV associate certification with the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, aiming to contribute to the green movement with solar power installations.

Jeff resides in Carmel with his wife, daughter, and dog Raleigh. When he's not working, you'll find him enjoying skiing, fishing, boating, archery, guitar, jiu-jitsu, and running. Jeff's bio is a straightforward tale of a hands-on entrepreneur with a passion for electrical work and a commitment to building thriving communities.
